RE5 on Crack: RASC by ~swiftcat-mooshi:iconswiftcat-mooshi:

Part 6 of  “RE5 on Crack”

Reunions and Script Changes

Finally pass the locked door and having already defended themselves from another horde of infected natives, our three heroes were at the Oil Field. Chris, now dressed in his Safari outfit, decided it was time to make their new “partner” carry some weapons, although she was doing a pretty fine job beating the hell out of everyone with that Oar of hers.

“Look, I just think you could defend yourself a lot more with a REAL weapon.” Chris sighed, handing her their extra Hydra, along with a machine gun and automatic sniper riffle. “With these, you can do some real damage.”

The girl rolled her eyes and took the weapons, yet still had her trusty Oar equipped. “Thanks Chris…they’ll come in handy.”

Sheva, being silent ever since the crocodile incident, walked over to a red valve and turned it around repeatedly. When finished, the last flame of fire that blocked their way vanished.

Chris gave her the thumbs up, then led the way as they entered the large building.

Meanwhile…

Irving stood pacing on his boat, a small pamphlet of two pages clutched tightly in his hands. Below him on the ship deck was the Plague Doctor, leaning on said boat with her mask pulled upwards some, taking drags time to time from the cigarette between her fingers.

“Oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god…” Irving looked through the pages, sweat beading down his worried face. “I don’t know if I can do this…”

“Relax,” began the doctor, exhaling a thick cloud of smoke, “and stay focused. It’s not that hard.”

“Easy for you to say!” Irving looked over the boat, down at the doctor. “You get to stay in the story while I get hawked off like a broken watch!”

“Just calm down and go over your lines. You don’t have many.”

“Exactly! Why is the director casting me out all of a sudden?! I thought I was doing a great job being a bad guy!”

The doctor sighed, smoke flaring out from her nose. She tossed her remaining cigarette in the water and pulled out a PDA. The screen showed the inside of the building. “Let’s just pull ourselves together here, Irving. The BSAA and that girl are finally inside.”

Irving panicked and started racing around in circles, screaming “I don’t wanna die! I don’t wanna die! I don’t wanna die!” he was suddenly slapped with a piece of wood from the deck.

“Irving, don’t make me put you in timeout again…” the doctor threatened.

Irving pouted, eyes about to water over. “This is sooooo wrong.”

Inside The Building…

Chris walked around first, followed closely by Sheva, with the girl covering the rear, Oar at the ready. Upon walking in, the girl noticed that Sheva’s outfit had suddenly changed into that of her Clubin’ one. Taken back, she decided not to ask just how that happened.

The three walked over to the elevator, guns and Oar still raised, when they heard someone making some clicking sounds from behind. Quickly turning around, they were all shocked to see a black BSAA agent pointing his gun at them, shaking nervously.

Sheva’s eyes went slightly wide with realization and she lowered her weapon. “…Josh?”

The man lowered his weapon at her response to him. He walked out from the shadows, his face slightly cut and bleeding. “Sheva?”

Chris and the girl lowered their weapons, still ever silent.

Sheva took a step forward. “You’re alive. Are you okay? Wha--How did you get here?”

Josh looked at the ground briefly before answering. “We were at the port when we got attacked. And then… well… I ended up here.”

“Oh I don’t buy that crap.”

Everyone looked to the girl, who had her arms folded and was giving the BSAA agent a cold look. Josh walked forward, a look of confusion on his face. “I’m sorry but…who are you?”

Chris chuckled. “Ya know…we never got around to asking you that, either. Just what is your name, anyway?”

She sighed. “My names not important. But if you wish, you can name me yourself. Anyway! That’s not the point of the matter!” she raised an eye. “Josh…I just don’t believe that so-called story of yours. Just what REALLY happened that’d have you end up here?”

Josh laughed nervously. “What? I-I told you what happened—”

“You left out a hell of a lot of detail. That story just doesn’t fly with me.”

“How about Vivi?”

The girl looked over at Chris, both eyes raised. “Uh…what?”

“You said we could name you, so…how about we call you Vivi?”

Sheva laughed. “After the Final Fantasy 9 character?! And by the way, that has no relevance to this conversation whatsoever.”

“What’s so wrong about that? I think it fits. Besides, I didn’t hear you come up with anything yet.” Sheva sighed, giving up on the situation.

Josh sighed. “Can we please focus here? I’m sure this isn’t how the story is suppose to go.”

“Think of it like a script change.” The girl huffed. “For the time being, my names Vivi. Now, let’s move on.” There was a small silence. She sighed and hit Sheva in the shoulder. “That’s your cue!”

“Oh! Right!” Sheva cleared her throat. “It’s just the thr…four of us now.” She caught herself, remembering the scrip changes.

Josh went into a panic. “Why did you not retreat?! I mean, we are no match for them!”

Chris stepped forward. “I have some unfinished business.”

Sheva looked over at her partner, eyes saddened. She then focused back on Josh. “The hard drive containing data on the B.O.W. experiment had a picture inside…”

Chris looked over at Sheva, anger somewhat appearing on his face. “Why the hell are you telling him my business?” he muttered, only getting ignored.

Sheva continued. “…The picture was of Chris’s friend.”

Josh looked over at Chris, eye raised. “A friend?”

“I’m not leaving. Not until I catch Irving and find out just what the hells going on around here…?!”

Upon finishing his statement, a window shattered nearby with a Majini jumping through. Behind the fence wall, two other windows shattered and several Majini ran through, climbing up and over said fence. Chris and Sheva began shooting, leaving Vivi to protect Josh.

He looked back at the girl as he ran over to a control box, getting ready to work his hacker magic on the thing. “Let’s save the chit-chat for later. Right now, cover me! I’ll try and get the elevator to work—AH!”

Josh turned around, taken off guard by seeing a Majini suddenly rush toward him. He tried to pull out his firearm, but it got stuck in its holster on his side. As the enemy advance forward in a giant leap, there was a sudden gunshot from behind.

The Majini fell to his feet, a fairly sizable hole through the back of his head. Josh was covered in the Majini's blood and brain matter, which disgusted Sheva and nearly caused her to pass out from the sight of it all. Josh wiped his face as clean as he could, then peered through the hole in said Majini's head.

Vivi stood a good three feet away with her Hydra held firmly in her hands, smoke blazing from the three barreled weapon. The Majini fell to ground, dissolving.

“You’re welcome!” was all she said before she ran over to a shattered window.

Josh blinked, shaking slightly, but quickly pulled himself together and went back to his task at hand. “The girls hardcore…” he muttered as he typed in a few codes.

Some Time Later…

Josh had split up from the others by this time after their ordeal with the infected, leaving the three to finally meet up once again with Irving. It didn’t go as planed, thought, when the Plague Doctor took off in her speedboat and Irving set several bombs within the Oil Factory to go off, also speeding away in his own boat.

Chris grunted, frustration getting the better of him. “I hate that guy…”

Sheva looked over at Vivi, eye raised. “Did you get what you came here for?”

She shook her head. “No…this place is tapped out of Mexipax. I guess I’ll just stick with you guys a little while longer.”

There was soon a sudden explosion, followed by another horde of infected Majini charging at the small group. Chris tossed a hand grenade, blowing them all into nothing “Let’s go before this whole place goes up in flames!”

A Minute Later…

The three were re-reunited with Josh at the other end of the docks, where he had conveniently found a boat for them to use for escaping. Shoving the agents and Vivi onboard, they took off like a bat outta hell. Once in the clear, they all looked back on the Oil Factory as a tower came crashing down, resulting in a mildly huge explosion.

After that sight and driving a small ways further out into the Marsh, Josh looked over the two BSAA agents. “What happened to Irving?”

Chris and Sheva both looked at him and sighed. Vivi, finally irritated with not getting what she set out for, snapped at the question. “What the hell kind of question is that?! Do you see him here with us?! No! So what does that tell you?!”

Josh sat down, eyes wide and completely stunned. Sheva and Chris also reflected the same shock, having never heard her flip out before until then.

Josh, still focused on the pissed off individual, slowly pulled out a rectangular, silver packet from his back pocket and handed it over to her. “Just calm down, okay? Here, have some chocolate.”

Vivi snatched away said item and sat down. “Thanks…and sorry for snapping. I just haven’t found my Mexipax yet.”

He blinked. “…What the hell’s Mexipax? Is that some kind of new B.O.W. or something?”

Chris fell to the floor of the boat, a dark cloud hovering over him. “No-one knows, Josh. No-one knows…”

“YAY! A BOAT RACE!”

Everyone shot up. Looking over in Vivi’s general direction, they spotted two other boats following behind, both with crossbow shooters onboard. Josh hit the throttle and sped up their pace, Chris and Sheva covering fire from the sides.

Vivi just sat there, enjoying the chocolate and the increase of speed. “Row, row, row your boat. Gently down the stream. Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily. Life is but a—CHECKPOINT!”

Josh stopped the boat at a nearby dock, seeing as when the girl shouted out ‘checkpoint’, she was most likely referring to the large gate that sat in their way. “Chris, Sheva! You two need to open that gate! Vivi…” he sighed, shaking his head, “You just stay here and provide cover.”

“Can do, Mr. Black man!” She saluted him and pulled out her sniper rifle. “Locked and loaded, WOO! Kick some ass!”

Chris hopped out of the boat, the dark cloud still hovering overhead. “Mental note: NEVER give Vivi chocolate.”

Meanwhile, At the Underground Mexipax Labs…

Wesker held a hand over his face in shame, a dark cloud also rumbling over his own head. The Plague Doctor soon walked within the room, only to stumble backwards and almost go flying down the stairs. She regained her balance and, walking in backwards, she stood beside her master.

Wesker ignored her, the dark cloud getting more aggressive. She sighed. “I know this may not be the best time…”

“No. I’m actually thankful for your interruption.” He uncovered his face and looked over at her. “Tell me, did you give him our gift?”

“Yes sir. I suspect he’ll use it soon against the BSAA and that—oh god.” She stopped abruptly when a white bra was suddenly shot past the two, landing by her feet.

Wesker shuttered, rubbing his forehead in distress. “One more task for you for now. Please take Excella away to her own room. And make sure she stays there…FULLY DRESSED.”

She nodded and, taking a deep breath, turned around to face an exposed Excella. She smiled drunkenly as the doctor approached, quickly wrapping the woman in her dress. Wesker kicked over the bra, his back turned away.

The doctor picked up the item from the floor, then looked back on the woman. “Excella, where are your panties?”

Wesker shuttered even more. “Um…s-s-she didn’t have any on at the time of her stripping.”

Excella suddenly burst into tears. “Love me, ya damn cat-man!”

“Come on, Excella. Time to go—”

“I wanna be loved by you! Do…Do! And nobody else but you! Do…Do!”

As she sang, the doctor snickered, resulting in her getting a fierce lightning strike from Wesker’s cloud. Huffing, she walked away with Excella, leaving Wesker to collapse in his chair.

“The horrors I’ve seen…don’t compare to that.”

Part 6 of "RE5 on Crack" is now up.

Chris and Sheva reunite with BSAA agent, Josh Stone, and name their new "Partner". We also look in on Irving, who is quite upset over some script changes, and Wesker, who is having another ordeal with Excella.

This chapter isn't all that random to me. I think I'm beginning to dwell into some serious stuff. I don't mean to do so, but I think it's happening. The next one I write will hopefully be really, REALLY random.

In case you're wondering, the RASC in the title is short for Reunions And Script Changes.

Yay! The Random Chick Is Finally Named! Thanks Chris! XD

Next Time: The boss battle with Irving! Interactive cutscenes and Hyperactive moments!

P.S: Thanks to everyone who's glimpsed, read, commented and/or faved parts or all of this Crackfic. You guys Rock!
